Remodeling: Before + After

If you’ve been following me on social media (@nextmovecara), you’ll know that I recently renovated my client’s property and built her $70,000 in equity! Here’s the steps I took to renovating her home:

  1. Scheduled a private tour of the property to assess the current state.

  2. Created a list of items that needed to be fixed and updated in order of priority.

    • I prioritized the list by major SOS problems to high value updates to lowest value updates. During this assessment, I took into consideration the most recent comps in the neighborhood to ensure that the updates made would not make the home too expensive and alienate buyers.

  3. Sent out a bid to 3 contractors to complete the job.

  4. Project Managed the 3.5 week renovation from start to finish.

  5. Next up: Staging and Listing!
